What’s diversity in my town, you ask?
Cape Town has the truest form of diversity - celebrating birthdays in BO KAAP, the traditional Cape Malay quarter where houses are painted in bright tones of yellow, turqoise, and pink! Here you will find a rustic, cozy Mexican restaurant owned by Arturo’s family - where Arturo Sr & Arturo Jr serenades special guests (my birthday!) with authentic Mexican mariachi songs!
It doesn’t matter where you are from, what colour you are, what languages you speak.
Welcome to Cape Town!

Have you seen the Eggshell Man in Cape Town?
He’s the single most jolly character in Green Market Square! Always smiling as he greets tourists, balancing a gigantic puppet of shells on his head! You can join his “call” on the walking-talking lanline!!
